    Job Description

    As a PHP Developer, this person will provide analytical, technical and administrative expertise in the creation and implementation of our product. This position will be involved in all aspects of architecting, implementing and maintaining our web application/API.

    You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development life cycle, from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

    Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
    • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

    Requirements

    Job Description

    A Full stack web developer will work on our LAMP Stack environment (Linux, MySQL, and PHP) designing and implementing new feature additions and site improvements. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, organized senior developer with excellent communication skills who enjoys working with our talented team to keep Invest-ability at the forefront of web technologies.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the development team to gather requirements, determine architecture, and create implementation plans
    • Design and develop website using PHP, HTML, CSS, & JavaScript
    • Design, develop and maintain databases using MySQL & SQL Server
    • Develop web services for integration requirements
    • Interact with clients/internal business unit; gather requirements and document the same
    • Write and execute unit test cases to ensure all functionalities are working as intended

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years of experience designing and delivering scalable front & back-end code following industry standards and best practices for web application projects (with emphasis on PHP/HTML5)
    • Experience with PHP Yii2 framework (or other PHP MVC Frameworks)
    • Advanced knowledge of MySQL and Database design principals
    • Strong knowledge of relational databases
    • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery
    • Experience developing API web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL etc.)
    • Experience with MVC Framework
    • Experience with AWS
    • Experience with versioning Software such as Git
    • Writing Bash Scripts

    Ensure the quality of UtilityScore’s core databases and core customer-facing products.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Ensure the quality of UtilityScore’s core databases and core customer-facing products
    • Perform quality assurance on UtilityScore’s calculation tools and product interfaces
    • Maintain a one-of-a-kind database of local utility rates (including electricity, natural gas, water, and sewer utilities) and geographies across the United States
      • Gather data from thousands of utility provider websites
      • Update and standardize utility rates and tiers in a consolidated database
      • Thoroughly document data sources
    • Monitor and report on implementation of UtilityScore API and widgets across multiple partner sites
    • Use Excel and Linux commands to organize, analyze, and ensure quality of large data sets
    • Clearly communicate questions and barriers with supervisor, and collaborate to devise solutions to those problems
    • Maintain excellent data organization and closely follow data capture guidelines
    • Work closely as a team to manage priorities and solve problems
     

    Required qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data
    • Ability to get the basics right (punctuality, following instructions, supporting team members) so we can focus on building great products, building your skill set, and having fun
    • Ability to thrive in a startup environment with rapidly-pivoting priorities
    • Strong work ethic and constant desire to learn new skills and gain new responsibilities

    Job Description

    To provide efficient and effective sales support; ensuring optimum use of time, acting as a communicator between our business, internal stakeholders and external organisations and third parties.

    Responsibilities

    • Build & maintain first class Pitch & RFP material
    • Coordinate sales pitch meetings, organising both internal and external parties' availability
    • Liaise with internal and external contacts to ensure the effective running of UtilityScore Sales function
    • To act as an Ambassador of UtilityScore and to champion UtilityScore's service proposition
    • Support analytics that drive Sales and Marketing initiatives, such as targeting, trigger-based selling, quota setting

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on data analysis utilizing Microsoft Access and Excel is required
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales support environment is required
    • Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues to closure is necessary
    • Proven ability to work cross-functional issues to closure is essential
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is necessary
    • Must be a strong individual and team contributor
    • Must be able to demonstrate applied advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel
    • Customer Service skills and the ability to quickly learn new applications / processes and to adjust to changing conditions with enthusiasm are essential
    • Strong written and verbal (both face-face and phone) communication skills are essential
